At FCS Financial, part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, we are looking for Marketplace Interns to join our Team for the summer of 2025 for our 12-Week Internship Opportunity! FCS Financial is a member of the largest agriculture lending cooperative in the United States today. We are looking for friendly, outgoing and confident students that are looking for an extraordinary learning opportunity!
The Marketplace Internship is designed to expose the student to all areas of FCS Financial! Working with several mentors within our Central Office and 21 branch locations across Missouri, interns learn the components of the lending process, from meeting the customer and taking the application, through credit analysis and decision, to appraisal and loan closing. Additional time will be spent on learning credit fundamentals and credit philosophy. Besides working in our Central Office, learning about our Central Office functions (Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Information Services, Operations, Legal, Audit, Marketing) in Jefferson City, interns will work in multiple branch locations with the local staff and regional specialists (Credit, Sales and Customer Service, Crop Insurance, Risk Management, Appraisal, Loan Services) to experience first-hand the level of service and personal relationships we have with our customers.
Interns will also complete one or more projects identified by FCS that are hands-on in nature and are approved by our Executive Leadership Team to add value to the Association. Presentations to the Board of Directors, Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, mentors and other staff are done in late July prior to the end of the internship.
Marketplace Interns are assigned to one of our three teams in Missouri:
- Team #1 is located in Northern Missouri.
- Team #2 is located in Central Missouri.
- Team #3 is located in Southern Missouri.
