Farmers and ranchers strive to feed the world and those close to home. In this giving season, FCS Financial is donating more than $21,000 to the five regional food banks that serve Missouri. This donation is on behalf of our employees.
The number of those in need increases each year, including the rural areas. The regional food banks and their partners use innovative methods to reach those in need. Mobile food pantries, school backpack programs, veterans' assistance and senior programs are a few of the programs utilized in Missouri.
These food banks will turn the FCS Financial donation into more than $440,000 of groceries. Their impact on rural Missouri is tremendous and our employees want to see that reach continue to grow.
The donations will be made by FCS Financial staff members throughout December to each of the food banks. Watch our social media for those photos.
