We were notified today that a recent court decision forced the Small Business Administration (SBA) to release personally identifiable information for each PPP loan. The information included name, address, loan amount and the lender name for each PPP loan. We understand the importance of protecting our member’s data and FCS Financial did not participate in the release of this information.
There have been some instances where PPP borrower information has been used by outside parties to fraudulently obtain additional loans from the Small Business Administration. We encourage you to closely monitor any communication via telephone or email that appears to come from the SBA for authenticity.
