Stockholders of FCS Financial recently elected three incumbent directors to four-year terms on the cooperative’s board. Those elected are Rick Rehmeier of Augusta, Mo., Don Schlesselman of Concordia, Mo., and Beth Schnitker of Middletown, Mo.

FCS Financial provides credit and financial services to agricultural producers, agricultural-related businesses, and rural residents. The board consists of 12 elected and 3 appointed members and has 12 areas of representation.

Rehmeier, 69, serves Iron, Jefferson, Lincoln, Madison, Perry, St. Charles, St. Francois, St. Louis, Ste. Genevieve, and Washington counties, and the City of St. Louis. He is a fifth-generation farmer. Rehmeier and his wife, Benita, have two children and five grandchildren. He is president and part owner of Rehmeier Farms, a family operation that consists of 2,300 acres for raising corn, soybeans, wheat and marketing 20,000 hogs annually. Rehmeier is a member of DRR Farms, LLC, School of Washington WINGS Endowment Committee, PorkPAC, and an investor and advisory board member for Heritage Community Bank. His family attends the Femme Osage United Church of Christ where he served three terms on the church council. Rehmeier has been on the FCS Financial Board of Directors since 2011 and serves on the FCS Financial Rural Community and Agriculture Foundation advisory committee.

Don Schlesselman, 61, represents Buchanan, Caldwell, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte, and Ray counties. He and his wife, Beth, live on a Century Farm near Concordia. They have two children and three grandchildren. Schlesselman farms with his son, Steven, in Lafayette and Saline counties raising corn, soybeans, and hay using no-till and precision ag practices. Additionally, they manage a 100-head cow-calf operation and generate extra income from custom haying, spraying and trucking. He has been involved in his community in a variety of ways. Schlesselman retired from the local volunteer fire department after 30 years of service and served on numerous boards including MFA Inc., Lafayette County Planning & Zoning, Lafayette County Cattlemen’s Association, 4-H Fair, and Extension Council. He currently serves as commissioner for the Concordia Special Road District. He also serves on the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association board, Santa Fe Agri Leaders board, Lafayette County Noxious Weed board, and Concordia Truck and Tractor Pull board. Schlesselman is a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia where he is a member of the choir and the Lutheran Early Response Team. He was elected to the FCS Financial Board in 2022.

Schnitker, 59, represents Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cooper, Howard, Montgomery, Saline, and Warren counties. She and her husband, Herb, are third-generation farmers whose family operation has grown to include their two daughters and sons-in-law who have joined the operation as fourth-generation farmers. They raise corn, soybeans, and wheat, along with operating a commercial cow-calf herd on 600 owned acres and 4,000 rented acres. They have expanded into earth-moving, trucking, custom application, seed, liquid fertilizers, and micronutrients services. Schnitker serves as a member of the Audrain County Cattlemen’s board and the Audrain Soil and Water Conservation District. She previously served as a 4-H leader and was a member of the FFA advisory committee for the local school district. Schnitker joined the board in 2018 and currently serves as the Board’s chairperson.
