Missouri 4-H Legislative Academy

February 17-18 FCS Financial and others sponsored the Missouri 4-H Legislative Academy. The Academy brought 13 youth from across the state to share 4-H stories and experiences with legislators, law firms, commodity groups and state agency leaders.

Senator Brian Munzlinger hosted the Academy while they visited the State Capitol.  Over the two days, delegates experienced a day-in-the-life of a lawmaker, shadowing State Senators and State Representatives in their offices, committee hearings and floor sessions.

In addition to visiting the Capitol, youth also met with staff of the Secretary of State Jason Kander and Governor Jay Nixon.
