The National Pork Board is offering free webinars this fall to help swine managers deal with the challenges of managing human resources.

The webinars will help managers discover new methods, tips and tools for working efficiently and effectively with their operations’ most important resource - people.

“INVESTING TIME to improve employee management displays our commitment to hiring, retaining and educating the pork industry’s workforce,” Mary Langhorst, chairwoman of the pork checkoff’s producer and state services committee, says in a news release.

“This set of free webinars is a great way to gain knowledge without the inconvenience of leaving your farm site.”

To participate, participants must register in advance and register separately for each webinar. All of the webinars will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
