30-Day Farm Financial Challenge

FCS Financial recognizes that money and finances are a unique source of stress for many farm women.  More than 90% of women will find themselves solely responsible for their finances at some point during their adult life. This may include the farm finances in addition to their personal finances. Yet many women report feeling overwhelmed, and avoid talking about money matters.

We want to change that.

We are inviting Missouri farm and ranch women to join us as we embark on the virtual Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture 30-day Farm Financial Challenge!

Who should participate?

This event will focus on personal and farm finances.  It is best suited for Missouri female residents, ages 18 and up, who is involved in an operating farm or ranch. This involvement may include full-time producers, part-time producers, management team members of farming operations or the spouse of a farmer or rancher.  Several weeks will be spent exploring farm financials so women with a stake in farm or ranch finances will benefit the most from this event.

Participants must have an active Facebook account because most content and discussions will occur in a private Facebook group.  Participants do not have to be existing FCS Financial customers. 

Class size is limited so we encourage you to sign-up early.

What is the challenge?

Each day over a 30-day period, participants will listen to, read or reflect on some aspect of money and financial matters. Daily posts will take on average 10 – 20 minutes per day. Weekends serve as an opportunity for additional challenges or time to catch up on missed content. Group participants are invited to a virtual networking session once a week on Thursday evenings. These sessions will last approximately 60 minutes and be an opportunity to engage with the week’s presenters and other participants. 

When is the challenge?

The first Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture 30-Day Farm Financial Challenge will begin November 1 and conclude November 30.

Class size is limited. Additional classes may be offered in the future.

Where is the challenge?

This event is virtual. The daily content will occur inside the private Facebook group and the Thursday evening networking sessions will happen utilizing a private Zoom link. 

What is the cost?

FCS Financial is hosting this event at no cost to participants. Your mailing address is requested on the registration form so that materials may be sent to you during the challenge.
