Prioritizing "Safety First" for Our Member-Owners

National Farm Safety and Health Week 2025 Logo

The third week of September is designated as National Farm Safety and Health Week, a tradition initiated by the National Safety Council and proclaimed by every U.S. President since 1944.

The goal is to bring awareness to the dangers in the agricultural industry, which, according to 2022 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, remains the most dangerous in America, with 417 fatalities.

The week's theme, "Safety First, Avoid the Worst," is a powerful reminder, especially as the busy fall harvest season approaches.

This year, National Farm Safety and Health Week will be held from September 21-27, 2025. The week, led by the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS), features a series of free webinars designed to educate and protect our community.
