FCS Financial presents $5,000 to Cooper County Youth Fair. FCS Financial Rural Community and Agriculture Foundation presents $5,000 to Cooper County Youth Fair Board for construction of a new livestock arena benefitting area youth.

The FCS Financial Rural Community and Agriculture Foundation recently granted $5,000 to the Cooper County Youth Fair Board to help in the construction of a new livestock arena.

“This new building will serve Cooper County for many generations,” says John Litton, Cooper County Fair Board President.

The steel framed structure will be used by area youth during fair time to house all species of animals and provide room for one or more show rings. At other times of the year, the building will be available to rent as an event center.

“We have about 300 youth from Cooper County each year who show at the fair. This year the youth fair will be held July 16-23,” says Litton. Cooper County Fairgrounds is located at 16899 Dunkles Rd. in Boonville.

The FCS Financial Rural Community and Agriculture Foundation represents the cooperative’s long-term commitment to a thriving and prosperous agricultural industry and our rural communities. The Foundation focuses on targeted, long-term investments.

“We are excited to be a part of this project and to support the next generation of agriculture in Cooper County ,” says David Janish, FCS Financial CEO. “As a cooperative, we are committed to giving back to the communities we serve and investing in their future success.”
