Last week a customer received a letter from a suspicious company offering to save them money on interest expenses by enrolling in their “biweekly payment program option”. This may be a scam to gain your personal information including access to your bank account. The letter states the lender is FCF Financial, not FCS Financial. We want to make you aware that this is a potential scam and please don't contact the company listed on the letter. If you have questions, contact your local FCS Financial office.

The letter points out that your information was obtained from public record which is easy to do. We do not know how many customers will receive this letter but wanted to make everyone aware of it. If you receive this “offer” please know that it did not come from us, that it may not be legitimate and if you are interested in making biweekly payments your loan officer is happy to discuss that option with you.

Even if this is a legitimate company offering to save you money by making biweekly payments, they will more than likely charge to enroll in the service and will add a servicing fee on to each payment. Again, if you receive one of these letters, please contact your local FCS Financial office.
