Money and finances are a unique source of stress for many farm women. More than 90% of women will find themselves solely responsible for their finances at some point during their adult life. This may include the farm finances in addition to your personal finances. It can be overwhelming and many women report they avoid talking about money matters.
We want to change that.
We are inviting Missouri farm and ranch women to attend the Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar on March 12. Topics include an agricultural outlook, how to avoid machinery fraud, and how to lead your team in the same direction. See the full agenda here.

Tyne Morgan is doing what she calls her "dream job." She’s a Missouri girl who has generations of agriculture rooted in her blood. After spending numerous hours on the road as AgDay and U.S. FarmReport National Reporter, in 2014, Tyne was named the first female host of U.S. Farm Report. She’s only the fourth host of the show, following Orion Samuelson, Max Armstrong and John Phipps. As Host and Executive Producer of the show, Tyne continues to take a deep dive into the news and issues farmers are facing today, while also sharing stories from across rural America. She has won several awards for her reporting and storytelling including The Doan Award. |

Laura Daniels is a mother, farmer, consultant, coach and agriculture advocate. For 15 years, Laura served as the General Manager of 300 Jersey cows at Heartwood Farm, her very own dairy farm. She keeps her farming dream alive, currently running her farm with beef and crops. Now, she advises fellow farmers and business owners in the areas of team building and strategic planning with Hitch Pin Consulting. Laura founded Dairy Girl Network in 2013 to help fellow dairy women across the United States connect and succeed. |
