This summer the University of Missouri Outreach & Extension is offering a free, two-hour workshop to prepare for creating and implementing a farm succession plan. The workshops are being offered at seven different locations and online.
Participants will learn how to prepare to:
- Navigate family and business roles
- Improve communication
- Share farm decision making during a short-term crisis
- Form a plan to transition farm ownership and management

July 26 Owensville – 6 – 8 p.m.
July 28 Concordia – 9 – 11 a.m.
July 29 Savannah – 9- 11 a.m.
August 2 Cape Girardeau – 9-11 a.m.
August 2 Mountain Grove – 6-8 p.m.
August 8 Macon – 12-2 p.m.
August 10 Online – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Registration is preferred but not required.
