Missouri farmers and ranchers are invited to gain a competitive edge in the new year by attending one of two complimentary Ag Seminars hosted by FCS Financial this month. These events provide producers with actionable tax strategies, market outlooks, and networking opportunities to navigate the evolving agricultural landscape.
The seminars will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) at the following locations:
Springfield, MO: Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at The Barley House, 3060 N Kentwood Ave.
Chillicothe, MO: Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Litton Campus, Mervyn W. Jenkins Expo, 10780 LIV 235.
The program features two industry-leading experts to help producers prepare for the year ahead:
Roger McEowen will present "Navigating 2026: Tax and Policy Strategies for Farmers and Ranchers," focusing on critical legislative and financial updates.
Dr. David Widmar will lead a session titled "Navigating Economic Headwinds & Opportunities," providing a deep dive into current agricultural market trends.
In addition to the keynote presentations, each event will feature a panel of FCS Financial experts, including loan officers, crop insurance agents, and credit analysts. The panel will discuss essential strategies for maintaining farm financial health, managing risk through tools like Livestock Risk Protection (LRP), and exploring opportunities for diversification.
While these seminars are provided at no cost to the public, seating is limited and advance registration is required by January 16. Register online at www.myfcsfinancial.com or by contacting their local FCS Financial office at 1-800-444-3276.
