FCS Financial has named Afton Cobb as the new Assistant Vice President, Ag & Rural Lending, in its Mexico, Mo., office. She will provide a wide range of financial services to customers in Audrain and Montgomery counties. These services include farm real estate loans, operating loans, and equipment loans.
Cobb brings 16 years of credit underwriting experience in the lending industry to the position. She steps into the role previously held by Dan Rhoades, who recently transitioned to the FCS Financial office in Columbia.
"I am most excited to work with fellow farmers, ranchers, landowners and local families to help them achieve their goals in agriculture," Cobb said.
Her agricultural roots run deep in the territory she will serve. Cobb and her husband, along with their two children, operate a cow/calf farm in Montgomery County. Her family is also active in their local 4-H club. She holds an associate's degree in general business and administration from Moberly Area Community College.
