FCS Financial's Connect Young, Beginning Ag Seminar will be held December 12 at Drury Plaza Hotel Columbia East, 3100 I-70 Dr. SE, Columbia, Mo. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the seminar kick-off at 9:30 a.m.
Dr. Alex White, Virginia Tech University, will discuss personal finance and retirement strategies for ag producers. Dr. White received his bachelor's in ag economics from Virginia Tech, his masters' in ag economics from Ohio State and his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech.
Greg Peterson, better known as Machinery Pete, will give an update on machinery value trends while also telling his personal story of business success.
Dr. Matt Roberts, a dynamic ag economist who founded Kernmantle Group, will provide an economic outlook to help you make informed decisions for your operation. Dr. Roberts was born in Missouri and taught at Ohio State University for 15 years. He received his bachelor's from William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
