Women in Agriculture Seminar

The last two years taught us that we need to expect the unexpected. Many women in agriculture have questions about the risk their farm operations are facing and may not know where to find the answers. FCS Financial is hosting their first Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar on November 16 in Excello, Mo.

“Women are extremely active in the management and operations of family farms. They are full-time producers, part-time producers and women who may have off-farm jobs while advising the management and oversight decisions of the operation,” explains David Janish, FCS Financial CEO.

“Often women are the ones up at night worrying about the what ifs. We want to offer women a chance to engage with experts who can help ease their minds about some of the questions they have and, more importantly, help them create a plan to manage through those uncertainties,” said Kate Lambert, Vice President of Marketplace Engagement.

This seminar provides attendees an opportunity to ask questions about succession planning, learn how to plan for the unthinkable, understand landlord relationships and network with fellow women in agriculture. Unique to this seminar is that women will leave with a written 30-, 90- and 365-day action plan for their farm.

The Empowered Women, Empower Agriculture Seminar is Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Emerson Fields in Excello, Mo. This women-focused event is offered at no cost to participants. Pre-registration is required due to limited space.
