The FCS Financial Rural Community and Agriculture Foundation recently granted $10,000 to the Callaway Youth Expo in Auxvasse, Mo., for construction of a multiuse building.
The new building replaces the current structure and will house a concession stand with an accessible kitchen, storage, an office and an area for hosting 4-H and FFA meetings. Construction is expected to be completed by June 2024 in time for the Callaway Youth Expo.
“This project will benefit our community by providing a safe, accessible area for youth meetings and events as well as improved facilities for the Expo and rodeos,” says Jennifer DeLashmutt, Callaway Youth Expo Representative.
The FCS Financial Rural Community and Agriculture Foundation represents the cooperative’s long-term commitment to a thriving and prosperous agricultural industry and our rural communities. The Foundation focuses on targeted, long-term investments.
“FCS Financial is committed to serving rural Missouri communities,” says Rob Guinn, FCS Financial CEO. “Youth involvement in agriculture brings a new energy and perspective to the industry. As they learn, they bring fresh ideas and are driving positive change for the future of our industry and rural communities.”
